Perfect Putt 360 is back, and it's live on the App Store today.

You asked for this one for a long time. Thank you for waiting — and for the messages, which we read all of. Here's what you're getting.

The game

Five stations. You play them twice. Ten putts at each, every one counted, for one score out of 360.

Every putt you make is a point. Then the bonuses, which are where rounds are actually won:

• First In — you make the first putt of the station
• Last In — you make the last one
• All Made — you sweep the station clean

They're worth more the further out you go, and the fifth station counts double. A clean sweep at 30 feet is worth five times one at 10.

That's the whole format. It's simple enough to explain at the practice basket and hard enough that a perfect 360 is going to stay theoretical for most of us for a while.

Three modes

NORMAL is the full game — 10 to 30 feet, two rounds, 100 putts, scored out of 360.

PRO keeps the structure and pushes the ladder out to 20–40 feet. Same 360 ceiling, considerably less likely.

LITE is the quick one: the same distances as Normal, five putts a station, a single round, out of 150. It's for the evenings when you've got fifteen minutes, and it's the mode that will keep you honest on a Tuesday.

What it keeps for you

The point of scoring a practice session is being able to look back at it.

• Stats — averages, personal bests, and your make rate broken down by distance, so you can see exactly where your putting falls off
• Every game you've played, filterable by mode, with the full station breakdown
• Notes on any round — what the wind was doing, what you changed, what worked
• Your bag — log the putters you throw and tag each round with the one you used
• A practice streak, with a reminder if you'd like one

And you can share a scorecard straight out of the results screen, which we suspect is going to settle a few arguments.

One thing we're not showing you yet

The app is quietly keeping track of more than your putts. First games, play counts, streak milestones, perfect rounds — it's all being recorded from today, sitting on your phone waiting for somewhere to live.

We'd rather ship the badges properly than ship them half-finished, so they're not switched on. But when they do arrive, the ones you've already earned will be waiting for you. Nothing you do from today is going unrecorded.

What's next

This release is the foundation, not the destination. We want your scores to live somewhere better than one phone. We want you to be able to putt against your friends without standing next to them. And we want the practice you put in to add up to something you can see.

Those are promises, not a roadmap — we'll show you rather than tell you.
